Opening Day Parade and Ceremonies

To celebrate the start of every spring season, DGSL partners with our friends at Dedham Youth Baseball (DYB) to hold Opening Day activities. The day begins with a parade from Town Hall onto High St, East St and finally Eastern Ave, arriving at Barnes Memorial Park. All of the DGSL and DYB players march and are led by the Dedham Fire Dept trucks. Once arriving at the field, ceremonies are held including singing of the National Anthem. After the ceremonies are concluded there will be a Skills Clinic run by the DHS Varsity Softball team.  This clinic will be free.

Unfortunately due to logistics issues, Opening Day 2019 has been canceled.  We apologize for any inconvenience.  See you in 2020!
